I like this even better than the first single (s’all in the falsetto). Sexier, deathier, and will wipe away any rididual earmworm from the vile Savage Garden tune that namechecks the same fruity soft drink. Stream it: WIN | REAL

  1. Guitargasm!

The song’s not as “instant classicy” as “Speaking in Tongues,” but it’s still pretty good. Too bad the Non-Hughes/QOTSA members don’t get much screentime.

  2. Do people really enjoy this stuff?

  3. Whoever said rock and roll is dead is deaf to EoDM.

  4. settle down brendawg, its fun, let it fly. they dont claim to be much, but what they are is a good fucking time so sit back and fucking enjoy.

i hate to say it, cos i loved the last record, but this one seems like a watered down version of peace love death metal. i’m just hoping that the bronx’s new record doesn’t turn out the same way.

  6. don is right, it just fun rock and roll. it’s not going to change the world or sell a lot of records, but it is FUN.

  7. Ok, this band has gone on long enough. Completely generic cheeseball dudes wearing costumes, playing music that sounds like it was written as a joke, which I’m sure it was. The most success these guys should’ve had was playing the shitty band at the high school prom in a Jennifer Love Hewitt High School Dramedy.

    Peace!

    Great song.

  9. When the music is uninspired and the lyrics are tasteless doesn’t that take the fun out of it? I understand that it’s a joke and that they don’t take themselves seriously – and I like that idea – I just don’t think they’re very good at practicing it.

    mp3, anybody?

  12. I suppose it’s sort of analogous to reading a comic strip as opposed to some Fitzgerald or Hemingway? But I guess I don’t really look at a given bands intentions or whatnot – if the music is “good” (in my opinion), then I’ll enjoy it, regardless of possible sincerity. I happen to like the Eagles of DM, and yeah, their cheekiness manifests itself into something that I can enjoy and find smile-worthy.

I’m sure they care what we think. They are enjoying music. I love listening to bands who enjoy music–especially their own–without any bullshit whining about their pain. ROCK!

EODM rock out so hard. All you knockers don’t know what’s up. Who couldn’t resist rocking out? EODM, that’s who.

EoDM is a hell of a lot better than listening to suburban upper middle class white guys employ acoustic guitar and synth to express just how HARD it all is. That music is not important. Something that brings people together in a spirit of visceral fun can often be far more “important” in my opinion. Lightness and catchiness aren’t easy.

And Jesse has the best womb broom in rock.

  17. Wrong again dudes… they SUCK!

  18. Jack  |   Posted on Apr 11th, 2006

Ben, what music do you like? I’m interested so I can rip it to shreds.

I’m dying by sexy as I write this, and EODM are the only band carrying on what QOTSA started. ROCK.

I think Ben is still waiting for the new Van Halen album???……Caught the Leno show last night. Great for them! Fun, boogie woogie, rock and roll! Saw the show in Vegas, the place was rockin’ choi.
