We’ve been enjoying Dum Dum Girls’ Richard Gottehrer-produced I Will Be, most recently via the new version of old favorite “Jail La La” that appears on the album proper and a single backed by a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Play With Fire.” As far as other I Will extras: Folks pre-ordering the full-length receive a copy of the self-titled five-song EP, originally released by Dee Dee and Brandon Welchez’s Zoo Music in a limited edition of 100 or so copies. One of our EP favorites is “D.A.L.,” aka “Dream Away Life,” aka the perfect song for when you find yourself awake at 3:37 a.m. and need another ghost in the room.
