Larkin Grimm released the excellent, Owen Pallett approved Parplar on M. Gira’s Young God records a couple of years ago, but as you might expect from a musician who’s often noted for her itinerant/exploratory wandering and willfully coloring outside the lines, Grimm’s just gotten around to putting together a video for the collection’s title track. It’s a beautiful one, a sandy animated clip created by Rebecca Shoenecker featuring a sleepy/cranky/jealous pyramid, flying cows, playful monkeys, and a Sphinx with a very powerful vagina.
