Important contest update…

OK, now here’s the important part. Remember the contest for the Outkast-loaded iPod and tix to the Idlewild advance screening? We made a database typo and all the entries got lost somewhere in this vast series of tubes. I’m sorry, I know that sucks. You took the time to fill out the form and everything. And the movie is TOMORROW. So we’re gonna break this baby into two separate giveaways.
1. If you want the 30Gig video iPod loaded with every Outkast album (including Idlewild), every Outkast video, and exclusive clips from the Idlewild movie, ENTER HERE by Tuesday, August 29 @ noon EST.. Three runners-up win the Idlewild CD and some limited-edition vinyl promos. This contest is open to anyone in the US or Canada.
2. If you want to attend an advance screening of Idlewild tomorrow night in NYC, and a post-movie album listening party at a club TBA, POST “I WANNA GO” IN THE COMMENTS BY 5 PM EST TODAY. We’ll pick a winner randomly and e-mail you shortly after 5 (so use your real e-mail!). You must be 21+ because the listening party is 21+. And obviously you have to live in the NYC-area or be able to be here tomorrow night.

Guitar Center’s Spin Off, America’s premier DJ/turntable competition, presents its Grand Finals 9/1 at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. There will be performances by Peanut Butter Wolf, Madlib, J Rocc, A-Trak, and the six illest battle DJs in the nation.
