  1. It’s definitely a party anthem. Probably his best shot at a mainstream hit given the lyrics. Can’t say I like it immediately but it took Sound of Silver a while to grow on me.

  2. I’m reminded of Blur’s “Park Life.”

  3. Sounds great!

  4. Yes! Great song.

  5. This song sounds like a (bad) outtake from Sounds of Silver.

  6. this sounds silly…not sure why we’re so in love with this fat 40-year old guy singing about drunk girls…so so subpar.

  7. I love it! Sounds *exactly* like the Hang Time theme:

  8. Boys Keep Swingin’

  9. “Drunk girls are abhorrently wild” that could possible be the best line ever, if that is what he says it’s kind of hazy.

Great single, I hope like Sound Of Silver there will be a couple of obvious singles surrounded by a really brilliant serious album.

Looks like we’re getting more Bowie, and a touch of Mr. Wilson on this LP.

    Can’t wait!

  10. Like this a lot–the new album is showing a lot of promise (as expected)! But then again, I am an unabashed lover of all things LCD…

  11. I’m going to have listen to this again, whilst drunk.

  12. Anyone else totally reminded of The Velvet Undergound’s “White Light/White Heat” in the call-and-response?

  13. This sounds like a bunch of retards making random noise and yelling.

    • “bunch of retards making random noise and yelling”

Really?? this isn’t an An Co post so stop trolling

      • I don’t understand internet nerd lingo, and this song still sounds like a really bad Dead Milkmen cover band with synths.

I hear the resemblance of “White Light/White Heat” but that song is actually good. This song is not.

  14. Sounds like someone wants to go on tour with Asher Roth.

  15. wow. wayyyy to many “drunk girls” refrains in there. i was annoyed as all hell by the end of the song. and i can’t help but feel like the music is just a b-squad rehash of daft punk is playing at my house.

    and no, i’m not trolling.

  16. White Light/Long Jacket.

  17. this is so fucking bad….by far the worst song of his career….and i thought sound of silver felt a little desparate near the end…this is so so so so so so so so SO bad….hahahaha….

  18. Hrmm.. I like most thing LCD Soundsystem. This? Not so much.

  19. extremely let down by this song. It sounds stale. Even the subject matter has VICE magazine 2001 written all over it. Bummer mr. LCD bummer.

  20. With regards to songwriting, I wouldn’t say this is the best.
    But damn, it’s catchy.

  21. Just goes to show how little Stereogum knows. This is the worst track on the new album!!!
