Wilco played the gorgeous Olympia theater in Montreal on February 27, and the timing was perfect for a Takeaway Show, if only La Blogothèque and the band could work out a time: “Sometimes we tell ourselves that no, the band is too famous, too important, that their label would never let them do a Take Away Show,” writes La Blog. Wilco did say yes, and spared thirty minutes to shoot this non-acoustic (but still intimate) take on “Country Disappeared,” from Wilco (The Album). This Take Away Show was filmed by Derrick Belcham backstage at the theater.

Wilco (The Album) is out now via Nonesuch.
