The Black Keys - Brothers

In this Black Keys promo clip, a soulful dinosaur puppet named Frank sings “Tighten Up,” the bluesy Danger Mouse-produced track from the duo’s otherwise self-produced sixth album Brothers. If you don’t like the song, entertain yourself with the running dialogue at the bottom of the screen. (It’s written in the same font as the words you’ll find on Brothers’ meta cover, but contains asides about fists and asses.) If you’re into the Black Keys, you’ll probably like the song — it doesn’t mess with the template. If you want something grimier, there’s always “Next Girl.”

“Next Girl” is definitely darker and heavier, but keeps it smooth — like cashmere/”Kashmir”? Listen at I Am Fuel You Are Friends.
