We’re surprised how apeshit everyone’s going over Peter Bjorn And John‘s Writer’s Block — not that they’re not awesome, but that last album was so slept on. Then again, Falling Out didn’t have nearly enough of that Swedish whistling we so love. Great great tune. I would certainly be shocked if “Amsterdam” was not brand spankin’ new, altho I’ll admit it did seem instantly familiar (but in a way I attributed to the band’s, um, genius). What was the song called when released before I wonder? Can’t find it in my collection…

I love their album. It is amazing, pure genius one of the best albums of all time. If you don’t believe you can watch them perform tonight on Last Call with Carson Daly at 1:35 a.m. on NBC. I know that it’s kind of late, but it will totally be worth it. If you miss this you will be missing an amazing oportunity. Come on people stay up all night to watch a meteor shower. So if your willing to watch rocks fall you should be more than willing to watch god like musicians rock out.
