We posted “When I’m With You” and then “Up All Night” a couple months later. Put together, it seemed like Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno were getting noisier with each 7-inch. But “Our Deal,” from the Bright Falls web series (it’s leading up to the release of the Twin Peaks-inspired video game Alan Wake), is pretty clear, with Cosentino’s voice taking center. The song’s antagonist’s intentions, not so clear: “I wish you would tell me / How you really feel” she sings (you can hear a little Neko Case in her vocals, too). Listen here (via P4K).
