Don’t know much at this point, except that This Is Happening: The Killers’ plumage-padded frontman is releasing a solo album called Flamingo. If you go to the Killers site, or the newly launched brandonflowersmusic.com, you’ll get the prompt to sign up for more updates along with an audio loop of what’s in store, which actually is quite pretty, a shimmering little figure with high-pitched sighs and some electro-plinking ala “Eple.” Nice start, killer.

I talked to Brian Williams of NBC news at a Great Lake Swimmers concert in Februrary and he told me that The Killers hated each other and were basically over. Regardless of that insightful chat who didn’t know Flowers would go solo?
Thats so not true. they arent breaking up at all, they dont hate eachother, this is something he wanted to do, Ronnies doing other stuff as well. Theyll be back with a new album together…
