Why, oh why must David Byrne be such a pretentious piece of crap?
nice shirt, byrne.
i thought ‘pretentious’ meant that you feign intellectual achievement. seems to me, with byrne’s resume, he’s anything but pretentious. disagree with him all you want, but the man certainly merits being listened to…
David Byrne=Coolest guy on planet
David Byrne!? That guy’s never had an original thought! He, like, totally ripped off Clap Your Hands And Say Yeah.
i’m looking for the irony/double entendre but all I see is apologize spelled wrong? is that an attempt to feign intellectual achievement?
Actually went to the FMC today and it’s really nice. Went to see a conference on the influence of blogs and other stuff one with musicians (Arcade Fire, Stars, Lesbians On Ecstasy) talking about their experiences. The first one, on blog, was really interesting!
Also went to random shows. Pop Montreal is an awesome festival! You guys should come next year!
David Byrne was at Joanna Newsom last night sitting with the Arcade Fire crew! so cute…
