Ratatat LP4 Album Art

Last time we checked in with Ratatat, they were performing “Pursuit Of Happiness” with Kid Cudi on Letterman (for another great collaboration, check out Ratatat/Despot’s “Look Alive“). Now they’ve prepped the follow up to 2008′s LP3, LP4 (of course), which was mostly recorded during the LP3 sessions. “Party With Children” has a skipping, complex rhythm and a rather delicate melody (“delicate” isn’t how I usually think of Ratatat).

LP4 is out 6/8 via XL. Check the track list:

01 “Bilar”
02 “Drugs”
03 “Neckbrace”
04 “We Can’t Be Stopped”
05 “Bob Gandhi”
06 “Mandy”
07 “Mahalo”
08 “Party With Children”
09 “Sunblocks”
10 “Bare Feast”
11 “Graper Juice City”
12 “Alps”

  2. Music for your average Sega MasterSystem videogame. I find it weird that they’re trying to sell this as a different medium: the mp3.
