We’ve been covering BTW Cold Cave’s various “Life Magazine” remixes, each with their own Max G. Morton cover art. So far the fiddlers have taken the icy, noisy synth-pop crew’s RadioShack staple in different directions, though each works with the untouched take’s Marti Domination video. This spin, which maintains more of the original structure than the others, arrives via Glasgow-based JD Twitch and JG Wilkes, aka Optimo.
The “Life Magazine” 12″ is out 6/8 via Matador.

Not bad. It sure takes talent to repeat something that long without making it sound too repetitive. Nice soundscapes and build-ups.
