I would love a Stone Roses reunion! I miss them.
I say nay on a Roses reunion. Part of their mystique is their ephemeral existence. These guys are pushing 40 now, and I doubt they’ll be able to put on a decent live show a la the Pixies, because Ian Brown’s voice is atrocious live.
I think RS is a little off base in its assessment of the members’ solo careers. Ian Brown has put out some stuff that has been successful in the UK, and even has a greatest hits album. Mani’s been in Primal Scream for more than five years and at least a few albums.
Reni and Squire, on the other hand …
