When we posted Glass Ghost’s video for “Like A Diamond,” I mentioned the way it blended blurry vintage home videos and other found footage with “a smoky, soft-focused (and blue-screened) present,” resulting in something that was “cheekily schmaltzy, ha-ha retro, and legitimately moving.” They trek to the petting zoo/local carnival in the Dustin Guy Defa-directed video for fellow Idol Omen track “The Same.” There are some overall aesthetic similarities, yes, but the results are different.
