yes, after all the bickering and union fighting, the real world, will be in my fair city. i can’t wait to follow the trails of puke on the sidewalk to find their crib!
nope, the philly folks are right– agreements have been made. the dispute was only because the real world was hiring non-union workers and philly is a biggggg union city, but they finally came to a compromise where the real world is employing non-union and union workers both to renovate (sp? my mind is totally fucked right now) the building where the kids will live.
the philly real world was supposed to take place on a loft on n. 3rd and arch (or was it vine? across from the starbucks, down the block from gmart), but they wanted to use non union workers to redo the inside of the church or whatever building it was so…uproar. i hear they’re relocating to south philly and negotiations are underway.
too bad my bf’s moving out of philly. he lives down the block, and his roommate runs gmart and wanted to get the RW cast to work for him. haha.
