When Scott posted about last night’s Grammy nominations reveal, he mentioned Radiohead and Lil Wayne got nods for Album of the Year, Katy Perry was snubbed for Best New Artist, No Age got a surprise nomination, and that Foo Fighters performed Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain.” He was right: The Foo Fighters did cover Carly Simon. It sounds like you’d expect it to sound. Watch Dave wrestle with the notes and the clouds in his coffee.

Nice to see the Grammy people consulted the makers of Tron re: the stage design.

Yeah– not great. Easy to beat up on the Foos. But also not really terrible.

  4. They also did “band on the run” recently- are the Foo Fighters a 70s standards band now? I’m waiting for them to tackle ELO

Could this be about Courtney Love?

  6. the Grammys … more irrelevant than ever.

  7. Can I buy this performance on iTunes? Can I get it on my VCast phone? Can I get it as a ringtone? Will there be a Grammy Nominations CD that I can buy? Will $1 of my purchase go to the current charity cause of the minute?

  8. This sounds like crap.
