New A.C. Newman – “Submarines Of Stockholm”

So far A.C. Newman’s offered a listen to “There Are Maybe Ten Or Twelve” from his forthcoming second solo album Get Guilty. Like much of his work, one song doesn’t exactly give you a sense of where he’ll take things across the next of the track list, e.g., an underwater vessel in Sweden via “Submarines Of Stockholm.” For some reason the free MP3 version edits about 10 seconds from the album’s take, but you’ll get the idea.

Remember, while Newman’s below the waves, Neko Case has been surfing cars.

Get Guilty is out 1/20 via Matador. You can see Newman live, in support of the record.
