This is 2008, so how about some more “Paper Planes.” M.I.A.’s ubiquitous anthem gets showcased in Slumdog Millionaire, but this version is the slightly funky remix that pops up on the OST. Here it’s set to footage from the film, which you still should go see. Watch and listen at imeem.

M.I.A. is best known for her 2007 hit “Paper Planes,” a Grammy nominee for record of the year that memorably features a sample of the Clash song, “Straight to Hell.” It was featured on the soundtrack to the movie “Slumdog Millionaire.”
