Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos tackles Smashing Pumpkins melancholy, melodramatic “Tonight, Tonight” for Levi’s Pioneer series.   1. Meh. Nothing they’re done since “Chunk of Change” has really excited me. It’s not like they’ve burned out, but they’re sort of fading away …. (At least to my ears.)

  3. These guys really have no shame when it comes to being corporate whores. Between this and their “secret” NYC show sponsored by Kin I’m starting to get concerned. I guess you gotta get paid — since no one is buying records anymore I suppose this is the only way how.
