Here’s another take on Lemonade’s Pure Moods standout “Lifted.” Where the liquid-squished, dub and steel-drummed original was all sunsets and sandy hearts, this remix by Le Chev (the production project of Fischerspooner’s Michael Cheever) reworks the track into a late night swagger and bliss jam, shifted from a beachfront club come-on to the soundtrack for dancing on tabletops and popping bottles. Still a come-on, though. The ten-second sustain at 3:30 is less pure moods, more pure climax. Definitely take this:
