Last year’s Björk/Dirty Projectors Housing Works benefit resurfaced today as Mount Wittenberg Orca. Now we have a new video from Ólöf Arnalds, the Icelandic singer/songwriter who also performed that night. (She was Björk’s choice for an opening act. Dirty Projectors selected Kurt Weisman.) ” Innundir Skinni” is the title track from Arnalds’ gorgeous new album. The video, directed by Icelandic visual artist Asdís Sif Gunnarsdóttir, looks and feels like a half-remembered dream stocked with crystals, coins, rose projections, capes, winged sculptures, laughter.

Innundir Skinni is out 9/14 via One Little Indian. Björk joins her on the track “Surrender.” Other guests included Skúli Sverrisson and Shahzad Ismaily. The “Innundir Skinni” single will be backed by a cover of Arthur Russell’s “Close My Eyes.” Here she is performing that one.

Catch her live:

07/19 – New York, NY @ Rockwood Music Hall
07/21-23 – San Francisco, CA @ Swedish American Hall #
09/14 – London, England @ Bush Hall
