Gorillaz visited AOL’s Sessions, performing “On Melancholy Hill,” “Rhinstone Eyes,” “Broken” and “Glitter Freeze.” Mick Jones and Paul Simonon joined Albarn for the session, which the site recorded shortly after Gorillaz’s headlining show at Coachella. That’s in addition to the two drummers and quartet of background singers. Still Albarn’s the focus here, and even if he wasn’t, it’d be hard to ignore him with all his disconcerting eye-contact with the camera.
