We heard Cee-Lo Green do “What Part Is Forever” for the Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack. He’s got a couple of tracks to listen to from his upcoming solo album and a mixtape. “ChamPain” from his Stray Bullets mixtape, has a smooth, horn-propelled chorus. So does “Georgia,” though that one’s a breezy tribute to his home state. Of course, both songs have Green, whose voice is as expressive as you’d expect. His falsetto on “ChamPain”‘s chorus is especially great.
Lady Killer is out this fall. Stray Bullets is out now. You’ll get a download the other album track, “Georgia,” when you sign up at Green’s website. Here’s the video for his Band Of Horses cover “No One’s Gonna Love You,” (from BOH’s Cease To Begin) which could almost double for a Levi’s commercial (except it’s NSFW). The cover was produced by Paul Epworth, who’s also worked with Maxïmo Park, the Rapture, and Annie.

Sounds like he sampled an Esthero song. Especially the horns at the beginning.
Yea he did. I asked Esthero about it on twitter and she said he played it for her before he put it out. she loved it
