A couple weeks back we mentioned Deerhunter’s upcoming Halcyon Digest, and the band’s street team instructions to print and paste up posters for the upcoming album. Now Deerhunter’s rewarded its street team with early access to “Revival” the first single from Halcyon Digest. Check it out by visiting this site and entering the password (removed at request). Click on the photo to get access to the “Revival” download, as well as other non-album tracks (all without having to lift a lazy finger to print and paste up fliers). (via P4K)
Halcyon Digest is out 9/28 via 4AD.

I can’t find any of the links (let alone get them to work). Any help?
The band requested that pitchfork take the password down. I think it would be a nice gesture if you guys did too. Also, put up a poster, it’ll only take a minute.
i heartily concur with the above. it was much more satisfying poking around the website after having been sent the mystery link. i am somewhat disappointed that others have felt the need to pass along the info as tips.
Great as always.
Bradford is a genius.
i agree with colinskys. people actually worked to get this great music. i think it would be relieving to most fans and deerhunter themselves if you removed this password.
Stereogum, why are you posting the password? Did you print out a flyer, post it somewhere, and send in a photo of it?
Please take this password down out of respect for the artist. Bradford clearly wants it down, as he has requested Pitchfork to do so. You are undermining the creativity, generosity and excitement of this project.
u ppl are lame
Sounds like a throwback to some lo-fi 60s band with a byrds-like feel to it. The vocal harmony as the song ends is lovely. B r i l l i a n t.
thank god you took the password down! now people won’t be able to download the song, unless they look anywhere else on the internet for it. but no matter how you get ahold of the two new songs they are both amaze-balls
Amaze-balls? what are you an idiot?
These guys keep getting better and better. Psyched for new album.
Very much looking forward to their new record. One of the few “hype” bands that are actually making great music.
