Moogfest 2010

MoogFest happens over Halloween weekend in Asheville, North Carolina (where the Moog Music company is headquartered). It celebrates Robert Moog and his many contributions to electronic music. Plus, what would Halloween sound like without the theremin? There are workshops and panels, but there’s also a pretty solid line-up of performers each night, in venues all around Asheville. Headliners include MGMT, Massive Attack, Panda Bear, Big Boi, Caribou, and Hot Chip, and it’s $149.50 for a weekend pass. Get tickets here, and see the full lineup below:

  1. Yes! I’ll be making the drive for this. And I’ll be making the trip to see Panda Bear and Broken Social Scene Hopscotch Music Festival in Raleigh, NC early next month. http://hopscotchmusicfest.com/
