Over at their website Y3 let us know it’s going to be called It’s Blitz. Maybe they were inspired by Ezra’s “Someone’s Gonna Die” cover with Fucked Up. The news is accompanied by a nice collage, so check it out. Release date TBA.

See this band live. Best thing out of NY right now. Before all you hipsters say somebody like Vampire Weekend or other obscure act. Tell me who is better at bridging the gap between indie and mainstream without being labeled “sell outs”? Also, tell me how much you hate Nick Zinner, I dare you.

    • Clearly the term “sold out” varies from person to person. I thinking this is your train of thought that divides the bridge between sell outs and those who dont.
Those who have not sold out have a cult status; you make an effort hear about them and praise them for being good. Those who has “sold out” have gained mainstream status; you hear them everywhere and loathe them for being great.

  9. 1) What?
    2) I know Vampire Weekend is my favorite obscure band. I always let people at parties know that.
