Bethany Cosentino, the main face from NME‘s favorite new band of 2010, has put together a mixtape for another UK publication, The Independent. (They should’ve asked Bobb Bruno to do a metal-themed Vol. 2. Not sure what to expect out of Ali.) The 14-track mix features another of NME‘s 2010 favorites Avi Buffalo (and you’ll find Beach House’s “Walk In The Park”), but otherwise Cosentino looks further back into her record collection via the likes of Billy Joel, Pavement, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, and the Queers.
