Twin Sister Shaking Through By Peter English

A few weeks back we brought you Ben + Vesper’s contribution to the Shaking Through series, and today we’ve got a session from Twin Sister. The Shaking Through series (sponsored by Weathervane Music and WXPN) gives handpicked artists a chance to record for a couple days in a nice studio with engineers and producers, for free. It’s for artists that are short on cash, long on talent, and open to seeing what happens while being filmed throughout the whole process. Twin Sister was picked by yvynyl blogger Mark Schoneveld. The title of the song they recorded refers to their “alternate personalities” as a Goth band (they mention how lots of their songs start off as jokes). Check out the track and watch a pretty video about the process:

The first Shaking Through series was a session Sharon Van Etten, and it’s also one to watch/download.
