The “unhinged-and-dangerous” looking Klaxon admits they really have no sense for fashion, but seeing the Klaxkids frolic in Urban Outfitters is amusing. This must be what Americans look like when we go to London and walk down Oxford Street and think everything in like TopShop is just so much cooler than the States’ retail chains. But then, Urban Outfitters has reason to give the band a little discount.

i forgive their urban outfitters frolic because a) i’ve totally been that girl when i’ve gone abroad and b) i rather enjoy klaxons, nme aside.

they have urban outfitters in the uk

  4. On Oxford St, Topshop is across the street from Urbn, but Topshop is way cool (says this Yank.)

Despite better judgment, I love both the Klaxon boys and their music. Also, somehow the humor of this video is pretty funny despite the whole blatantly synergistic marketing/pr aspect.

  5. Both Topshop and Urban Outfitters are shite. If they’d had a proper minder he/she would have sent them to Mervyn’s or Target in the US, to get some “ironic” fashion.

Americans: you want to be going to Primark on Oxford Street, not Topshop…

Why am I the only one not enjoying Klaxons?

Fallen – I agree with you. I’m a Yank who LOVES Primark. How I pine for the days of my next visit there…..

  8. i’m with you, oldskool. i only lived there for a year, but i get homesick for London like everyday. thankfully NYC keeps me well distracted ;)

i like the unhinged one’s accent, he said “idear” and brings down the iron fist on the other one for getting the hammock. like the sarcastic dad of them all. but i did not see the pretty boy and this saddened me. sigh i’m just a teenager, you guessed it.
