No more Metal Face (in title anyway) for Daniel Dumille. For the forthcoming MM..Food followup, it’s just DOOM. So far the Born Like This LP has confirmed guest verses from Raekwon, Ghostface, and two tracks of J Dilla beats, while also serving up a minute-and-a-half of “Ballskin.” “That’s That” packs its headspinning rhymes and flow in a slightly expanded chassis, going a full two minutes over a low-key sentimental beat and some closing off-key “did you miss me” singing. Between the flow and the rest it feels a tad like a demo, but still DOOM rock grandma like the Kumbaya.

And here’s “Lightworks” (produced by J Dilla):

DOOM’s Born Like This is out 3/24 via Lex.

      more like DOOM>all other rappers
the 5 track promo for this is out there and it’s pretty killer.

  6. I used to be a DOOM fan but I just can’t get into this anymore. His rhymes are obviously dope, but his delivery and monotone voice prevent me from listening to more than 3 songs in a row.

I’m glad this was posted though… More indie hip hop!
