In addition to that photo liveblogger, there were oh a couple of hundred more folks documenting each note and bit of awkward banter at the Smashing Pumpkins show at the Grand Rex in Paris last night. YouTube is swimming with clips, but this one of Zeitgeist track “For God And Country” has got the best quality we’ve heard yet; also, what the fuck is Billy talking about? (Thanks for the heads up, Yiyo.)

More clips from the show here.

I actually really like it. It’s only making me even more excited for the new album.

After youtubing a bunch of clips from last night’s show, I am extremely pumped for their Baltimore V-fest performance. I am happy to see that they have gone back to playing the older material straight up as opposed to the various takes they were putting on them at the end of their final tour in 2000.

  3. i think i’ll pass on any more You Tube clips. The quality is simply not up to snuff. “Tarantula” has me excited enough for the new album…

  4. Well hello Billy “superfan” Corgan. Why have I not noticed the Chicago accent before? “Da Smashing Pumpkins are yer friends.” “Thankyouvery muchhhhh.”
    “Zeitgeist!”
