This is so not the video Voxtrot needed to make. If you found the band’s self-titled LP soporific, this pastiche of clips from a November Bowery gig and moments in the studio (with no relation or regard to the song itself) will do nothing to wake you. Though it is cute to see the guys in non-music mode (maybe should’ve just run with that?). Get us when the next EP’s out. (via BV)

My pure, giddy schoolgirl love for Mothers, Sisters and Start of Something knows no bounds. Their show at the El Rey + this video make me sad.

“Steven” imo is one of the weaker tracks on the new album. And I really love the album. I thought Kid’s Gloves, Firecracker or Brother in Conflict are more deserving of videos.

    Dear Voxtrot,
Please mix Ramesh’s vocals louder and have him enunciate more. I can hear the whole arrangement and it is a bit distracting. Also, recently I too have started reaching for the lasers–thanks for showing me the way.
