My friends Amy and Thomas are debuting their film Maypole tomorrow night at Freight 410. If it’s anything like Amy’s photography, it will involve naked women and rodents.
Amy is awesome because:
1. She photographed Air at Coachella last month at told them I said hi.
2. At my 24th birthday party, she brought a Big Mac with candles in it. On my 25th, she brought a roasted chicken with candles in it. Cakes are so played out.
3. On our FIRST date, my future wife Eliza pointed to the new Village Voice on the bar and casually said, “That’s my hand.”
How fucking cool? Amy was the photographer.
Anyway, if you’re not doing anything Sat. night, you should check it out.

and i remember that voice cover well, and fondly. it was back in the days when eliza and i lived together.
