Since we checked in with the licensing activity over at the Cobain estate earlier today, thought we’d take a look at what’s been going on in other rock legend intellectual property news. But unlike, say, mini-flask key chains, the Ramones’ latest namebrand-lending falls in line with what’s shaping up to be a grand tradition: Dinosaur Jr, Joy Division, Johnny Marr, and now … the Ramones very own pair of Converse kicks.

Buy ‘em. This shoe fits the Ramones; Joey insisted his band mates choose between Keds and Chuck Taylors. And according to this AP article, Kurt loved his Converse, too. So Converse Inc., we’ve got just the ad agency for ya.
