Our old friend Richard brings us his latest beat-infused confection, taking the bell-clanging tart-pop of Elk City’s “Cherries In The Snow” and throwing it through his deep-Pocket synths ‘n’ beats machine. And for your comparative pleasure, the original…

Richard the Pocket man has left our fair city and set up shop in Portland, OR, but he assures us his beats will go on. Meanwhile, Elk City’s New Believers is available via Friendly Fire and have a CD release show at Joe’s Pub in NYC on 6/27. And for bonus consumption, take the jump for their “Cherries” vid.
