Melodic Brit rockers Athlete are in training for LP#3 Beyond The Neighbourhood, and to get maximum miles out of lead single “Hurricane,” the band’s engaged in an extensive track remix ‘n’ reworking campaign. Camp America twiddles knobs and pushes buttons on this blippy “Hurricane,” sounding less like a worry-worthy storm, and more like music for a cute driving-with-the-top-down scene in a date flick.

  1. Wow. Athlete used to be above average, but then went quite dull with their 2nd album. This mix transforms Hurricane though, gives it elements of The Delays and is just cute!

  3. Remixes are meant to be different and this stands well alongside the original. What’s really exciting is the dub version of the album that’s coming later.

  4. I heard this version all the time working at my retail job and I was really kinda upset when I purchased the album and found it was a different version! Def, def glad to have found this version, though. For free, too! Awesome.
