Dismemberment Plan Bring “The City” To Fallon, Expand Tour

Last night The Dismemberment Plan kick-started their reunion tour by performing Emergency And I’s “The City” on Jimmy Fallon. (Remember, they recently released an expanded version of the 1999 album.) They also did Emergency’s “What Do You Want Me to Say?” as a web exclusive. Watch both below. In the first one you’ll notice those two folks from Portlandia watching, too. Because they love the ’90s.

Questlove’s a new-found fan: “The Dismemberment Plan reunion. they are kicking arse on @latenightjimmy. like these cats,” “If we got dsmbrmtpln for The Roots Picnic would longtime fans support? These mofos are tight!!!!!,” etc. You can see them, even if not at The Roots Picnic: They just expanded the tour to reach Japan.
