Sasquatch 2011

Seattle’s 107.7 The End just announced the line-up to this year’s Sasquatch! Festival, happening May 27-30, Memorial Day Weekend. Some of the highlights: Another reunion show for Death From Above 1979 and Archers Of Loaf, and an appearance from Wolf Parade, who recently announced that they’d be on indefinite hiatus, plus Bright Eyes, Beach House, Death Cab For Cutie, Deerhunter, Guided By Voices, The Flaming Lips doing The Soft Bulletin, Foo Fighters, Robyn, Sleigh Bells, and Wilco. It looks like they are still adding new bands, especially since the poster doesn’t have DFA 1979 on it yet. Get four-day passes now at, single-day tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. 2/14. 1. I need a password just to visit the official website? What gives?

  2. According to the poster Rival Schools are so awesome they’re appearing twice!!!!

  3. Sasquatch 2011 lineup >>> Coachella 2011 lineup

  4. Why is no one very excited for this? This lineup is fantastic!

    • Mainly because it’s not as big as Coachella. It always tends to get eclipsed by that. Still a great festival no doubt. I’ve gone to it the last two years, and both years it was awesome.

  5. this lineup is unreal. surreal. mouth agape. eyes protruding. i need sasquatch in my life. holyshit.

  6. They announced the lineup at Sasquatch Kick-Off show at the Showbox in Seattle. It was pretty cool, I blogged about it here: – included some videos, but they aren’t that good since the mosh pit was a bit lively.

  7. Best lineup in years! Wow!

  8. i’ve realized after going the past two years that the spots that matter the most are the main stage later in the day, so, headliners and near-headliners – because thats where and when bands will sound the best. the headliners this year are SHIT (unless The Flaming Lips get to headline one night), but there are a ton of smaller bands i really want to see… it just sucks that i know they’ll end up playing a smaller stage with sub-par sound at 1pm.
i’d wait until the schedule gets a little more finalized before deciding to go any of the days

  9. Uhh, you sort of forgot one of the mainstage acts: The Head and the Heart.
