BBC, NME, and Kid Cudi-approved electro-inscribed British vocalist Victoria Hesketh, aka Little Boots, is getting serious remix action via prolific New York disco crew the Golden Filter and French house producer Fred Falke for “New In Town,” the first single from her debut full-length Hands. Surprisingly in the age of disposable, superfluous remixes (seriously, not everyone with access to a laptop should consider themselves a producer), both do something interesting with the original. Fred’s is the better of the two, but both definitely have their merits. Listen to Little Boots first, then see where the twiddlers take it.

Fred’s kinetic (and tres French) take for your next Saturday night fever.

And the Golden Filter slow it down and then speed it up, always in outer space.

The “New In Town” single is out 5/25 via Atlantic. Hands is out 6/8 via that same big label.
