The Antlers 2011

You’ve had that dream where you lose your teeth. Apparently Peter Silberman has it constantly. “Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out” is the second track we’ve heard from the Antlers’ Burst Apart. It premiered today via @thenational. None of the guys are smiling. Here goes:

Burst Apart is out 5/10 via Frenchkiss. Take another listen to “Parentheses.”

  1. doesn’t seem to be working? or is it just me?

  2. You need to rename it from .mp3 to .m4a (at least with The National’s original link).

  3. Very interesting, can’t wait for more.

  4. Reminds me of As Tall As Lions.

  5. Loving it. Wasn’t a huge fan of there last album but this new direction they’ve taken with their sound has instilled a great need in me for their new album (I might even skip mediafire and buy it lol jk).

  6. Wow, their new stuff is continuing to sound really impressive. i thought ‘parentheses’ had a real ‘Ok Computer’ sound, in terms of the guitar, but this song goes in another direction…it will be interesting to see how it all comes together on record…the instrumentals in this song, oddly enough and only at certain points, remind me of Andrew Bird of all people. hmm.

  7. it’s growing on me :P
