Austin’s Octopus Project unleashed “Truck” a month ago to introduce us to the Hello, Avalanche LP’s aim at achieving “the perfect blend between high-end studio trickery, and lo-fi home experimentation.” Consider this clip the visual representation of that vibe; the song’s got a nice mix of garagey guitars and some pretty keyboard arpeggios, while the vid takes real life air show footage and randomly inserts animated animal masks on its attendants (and dudes in jeeps). Perfect for Hallow’s Eve, no? And since we’re tracking the trends of late, the sped-up cam work is so this week.
