Iceage – “Broken Bone”

By brandon / May 23, 2011 - 10:39 am

As mentioned, young Danish punk quartet Iceage is playing its first Stateside show as part of another collaboration between Stereogum and Sacred Bones. It takes place 6/17 at Brooklyn’s Public Assembly as part of the Northside Festival. Since our previous announcement, we’ve quietly added co-headliner Prurient — offering his first NYC show in 2+ years and first dibs at the cassette version of his forthcoming Bermuda Drain. Take a listen to “Broken Bone” from Iceage’s basically perfect debut LP New Brigade while you study the official show flyer for the rest of the details. The song’s another reason I called them one of 2011’s Dark Bands To Watch. (As is the swarming, nose-busting live show.)
