We called Burzum-covering, PJ Harvey-evoking “doom-folk” chanteuse Chelsea Wolfe someone to watch in 2011. Please do: In August, the Californian’s following 2010’s excellent homespun The Grime And The Glow with the even stronger studio-recorded Ἀποκάλυψις (pronounced “apokalypsis”). Here’s the album’s second track, “Mer.”
