The Cure

The Cure finished a two-day appearance at Sydney’s Vividfest yesterday, where the band played all of their first three albums, Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds, and Faith. They not only played those albums, but included an encore of over a dozen other tracks. Other bonuses: the band sang happy birthday to bassist Simon Gallup, who turned 51 yesterday. Watch some videos from the main albums set and the encore, as well as their cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady”:

“A Forest”

“The Weedy Burton”

“Foxy Lady” (Jimi Hendrix Cover)

“Object”

“Jumping Someone Else’s Train”

“Charlotte Sometimes”

“Three Imaginary Boys”

The entire show will be released on DVD/Blu-ray disc sometime soon.

  1. As a Cure and Hendrix fan, it is nice to see Robert Smith making amends for the rendition of Foxy Lady on the album.
