Soundscreen Design is an apparel/product design company closely aligned to music. As they put it, “We design, produce, and distribute music-related products … [aiming] to advance the concept of music merchandise through meticulous design coupled with a fan’s appreciation for and obsession with the ‘thing.'” One of their most recent products, the 15th in their Musician As Designer Collection, is a t-shirt designed by Jamie Stewart (see above). It’s available in an edition of 60 featuring Stewart’s original illustration screen-printed (with three water-based inks) on an organic tee. Like the other shirt designs, they printed custom hang tags and hand-numbered each shirt. They don’t only make shirts designed by musicians — there are also totes and shirts they did themselves.
