NEW YORK, NY, July 28, 2004 – The critically acclaimed band, Yo La Tengo, will anchor New York’s first major post-Convention Kerry benefit concert, organizers announced today. The evening of music, comedy and politics, called “The End of an Error,” will be held August 12 at “Spirit” in Chelsea. It is co-chaired by Chris Heinz and Sandra Bernhard and will feature Demetri Martin, Eric Bogosian, Rachel Dratch, Ted Allen, John Wesley Harding, Jonathan Lethem and other luminaries of the New York arts and performance world.
