Pitchfork Music Festival Paris

The Pitchfork Music Festival’s franchising: In addition to the usual July event in Chicago, there’s now a second Parisian version of the festival taking place in October. Since his moniker’s French, Justin Vernon’s helping curate. So far Bon Iver’s also confirmed to play, along with Jens Lekman, Wild Beasts, Kathleen Edwards, Cut Copy, and Pantha du Prince. You can get more info and purchase tickets at Digitick.com. The Pitchfork Music Festival Paris takes place 10/28-29 at La Grande Halle de la Villette in the large public park, Parc de la Villette.

  1. Line-up needs some work. :/

    • And by “needs some work” I hope you mean expansion rather than improvement because the preliminary list sounds incredibly promising to me.

      • Oh, I like those artists (except maybe Cuit Copy; not familiar with Edwards) but yeah, I meant that those names alone would not be a big enough draw to prompt some grump like me to pay the inevitably costly ticket price.
