Beat LA Compilation

In case you forgot, No Age are keen punk/underground fans/historians. For starters, the Los Angeles duo covered the Urinals “Male Masturbation” for the aptly titled Beat LA, a compilation featuring current L.A. groups like Best Coast, Crystal Antlers, etc., taking on songs from bands of the city’s past. In that vein, original Black Flag vocalist Keith Morris (currently of OFF!) and founding member/bassist Chuck Dukowski joined Randy and Dean on stage at MacArthur Park last week and ran through “Wasted,” “Nervous Breakdown,” “Fix Me,” and other Black Flag classics (all in under 10 minutes). Take a listen and a look. We have the Beat LA tracklist, too.

  1. They covered this a long time ago on the Eraser 7″ single. Still great though.
