
Reader Peter tips us to the news that David Ryan Adams has started sharing details about the full-length follow-up to his 2008 LP Cardinology. According to an interview in September’s Q Mag, it’s titled Ashes And Fire and features “12 elegant country-rock songs” with titles like “Dirty Rain,” “Kindness,” “Till I Found You,” and “Lucky Now.” Guests include Benmont Tench (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers) and old pal Norah Jones, with a production credit going to Glyn Johns, father of producer Ethan Johns (whose previous credits include work with Ryan’s old band Whiskeytown, along with Adams’s solo records Heartbreaker, Gold, Demolition, and 29).
